Officers Meeting

The next officers meeting has been scheduled for Saturday May 20th from 10:00 - noon at the Boeing Air and Space Museum cafeteria meeting room.

Future Meetings

The next meeting is being scheduled for Saturday, July 1, 2006.
The meeting will be held at the Boeing Museum of Flight.

The Boeing Museum of Flight is located on the Southwest side of Boeing Field, across from the Boeing Company.

We are currently looking for our invited quest speaker(s).

Our meeting will begin at 9:30am and will include coffee and pastries.

Your executive committee has agreed to ask for cost recovery, payable in advance, as follows:

  • $30 for each pre-paid attendee prior to June 19. 2006
  • $40 for each attendee if payment is received after June 19, 2006.
  • $10 for Corporate membership attendees prior to June 19, 2006.
  • $20 for Corporate membership attendees if payment is reecived after June 19, 2006.

eMail's or postcard notifications will be sent to all members. We ask that you respond (via eMail, phone call or regular mail) to let us know if you "ARE" or "ARE NOT" planning on attending the meeting. If you ARE planning on attending the meeting mail a check to Fran Dyer at the address below. Please indicate

  • name of each person attending and whether the person is an AFIO member, family member or a non-member guest.

Previous Meetings

  1. March 4 - Chapter Meeting, 11:30am - 4:00pm:
    • The meeting was held at the Boeing Museum of Flight
    • Our keynote speaker was Andy Hamilton.
      • Andy spent 20 years with the United States Department of Justice as a senior trial lawyer.
      • During his last 5 years he was assigned to the Terrorism and Violent Crimes Unit where he was responsible for terrorism prosecutions.
      • Andy was one of the lead attorneys in the investigation and prosecution of Ahmed Ressam, the "millennium bomber". He will provide a rare, behind the scenes look at the Ressam investigation and
      • discuss the complexities of international terrorism investigations.
    • Our meeting began at 11:30am which will include a buffet lunch. As the Chapter is presently operating at a deficit, your executive committee has agreed to ask each attendee for $30, payable in advance, to cover the cost of the room rental and lunch.
